"One for Sorrow" is a short narrative adventure game where you play as a crow, rummaging through a dilapidated graveyard. On your way, you uncover memories of a time long gone and follow through on a Faustian deal you made with spirits from beyond. Sneak past the piercing gaze of the undertaker, explore the cemetery, and unearth what lies beneath...

This project was developed for Jamsepticeye 2025 by a group of passionate game development students at Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas) in the Netherlands. The goal?  Create a game over the span of 5 days inspired by the theme "Death is an Opportunity".

The gravekeeper likes to get stuck in a certain corner of the graveyard -> Don't worry about it, he likes it there. He also sometimes gains the unnatural ability to hit you through walls.

Getting lost in the maze is very normal -> It's an a-maze-zing experience, if you will.

Digging up the grave piles can get a little quirky sometimes, try not to stand directly on top of them when pressing left mouse button and more off to the side.
